Susan Greenleaf launched Greenleaf Design Studio four years ago after having studied Interior Design while living in London with her husband and twins. With travel as a major influence in her work, Susan works to integrate ethnic finds with both modern and traditional pieces to create homes that have soul and texture, avoiding anything that feels "cookie-cutter". Believing strongly that a home should not only be comfortable and peaceful but dynamic, Susan uses 'juxtaposition' to create a degree of tension in each space to surprise and delight. Inspired by everything from Danish furniture of the '50s-'60s, to the much loved French antiques as well as Moroccan and Turkish textiles, Susan fearlessly pairs reupholstered Louis XVI chairs in lemon yellow Christopher Farr fabric with African stools and framed John Baldessari skateboards to create homes that are youthful and energetic but also sophisticated and refined.
